Been there, seen that

The next day of our DC trip we took a tour bus to various sites and memorials. I took so many pictures that it's going to be hard to choose what to put up here. If you'd like to see the set it's here.

We saw the Capitol.

We also stopped briefly way out in front of the White House.

There was the WWII memorial.

There was the Jefferson Memorial.

I really liked the FDR Memorial. This was the second statue they put up of him. The first one didn't have the wheelchair showing.

They also had four waterfalls, each representing one of his terms in office. The first one had no obstacles, the second a bit more, the last one had a lot because things got rougher to handle. Wars are not easy for anyone, least of all the president.

Then there was the Lincoln Memorial.

Some girls, I don't know what country they came from, asked to take a picture of them. Then they offered to take a picture of us.
