Another Funny Sign
All right, I know it was just Easter but I'm ready for the local churches to take down their Viagra ads. We know he has risen and that he rose. So I was going past one of these today.
I knew that it was still too early to take down the Easter messages so I held it together for the first half of the message: "We worship the risen Lord" I tried not to chuckle. But then my sick mind couldn't let the second half go which read: "and the coming King". I had trouble driving for a minute, I was laughing so hard.
Ooookay, he's risen and coming. They shouldn't teach heathens like me to read.

Well, how disappointing would it be to rise and not come? I mean, really?
And remember people: Squirl is the classy one in the family. If you're not scared now, you're just not payin' attention.
Very funny stuff! I love it.
I saw from your profile you're also a Stephen King fan? I was reluctant to post that on my own profile. Guess I should "grow a pair," huh?
Sierrabella - I've found that anything goes here on the internet. Please put that in your profile. The more I'm here in the blog world the more fun it all is. Let your hair down and enjoy yourself. Thanks for stopping and commenting.
Bucky - Of course I'm the classy one. And, yes, they should be scared.
I am starting to see the family resemblance...
Jess - We do share the same genes. :-)
Oh, Squirl. That was bad. I mean, really, really bad.
I'm pretty sure you're going to hell for that one.
Ladybug, maybe I am going to hell for that one. Some people think that, with reincarnation, that hell is just having to keep being re-born over and over again here on earth. Some days that really feels like hell. :-)
Y'know--I never thought of it like that before--that is just WRONG! But, knowing that you are related to Bucky--it's expected (and I have to admit it, no matter how sacriligious it may be--I chuckled) (waiting apprehensively for the lightening bolt to strike me down now!) Would you say something nasty like that if someone was "Moved by the Spirit" too?!
Moved by the spirit. I'll try not to laugh out loud. Not trying to offend anyone. Just can't help but see more than one side to everything. :-)
Damn...it's not fair, no family should have all those funny genes to themselves!
And i am telling you right now...I am stealing your material for work Monday!
Thanks, Great White. I'm having fun with this. Trying to come up with something good to put in tonight. And feel free to steal away. :-)
OK, my desire to not GO TO HELL prevents me from commenting on this one.
Susie, I'm trying hard to keep up with Bucky. Remember, "the classy one" is all a matter of perception.
