Sunrise, Sunset
The sunrise is from this morning. The sunset is from a couple of days ago. I've been meaning to post the sunset but just haven't gotten around to it. But it gave me the chance to title this post after a song from the musical Fiddler on the Roof. :-)
First, the sunrise. You might not be able to see them in the small versions here, but I like how the sunrays showed through.
Now, the sunset from last week.

Those are beautiful pictures! I miss GR.
Those big glowing white EYES are FREAKING ME OUT!!
Lawbrat, don't you get sunrises and sunsets like that over there? The sunrise is actually closer to Holland, MI.
Mr B, glowing white eyes? Are you doing drugs? Am I missing something?
Those are some mighty purty pictures.
Loving those pics!
*singing*Sunrise, sunset...
Thank you, Kranki!
Effie, thanks. And now I've got the song running through my head again. :-)
Bucky, ain't nothin' better than evil sunset pictures. :-)
Those sunset pictures look positively evil.
I like it!
Surely I'm not the only one that sees...The Eyes...!?
Okay, I know I saw Bucky's comment before I responded.
Mr B, maybe I was wrong. Maybe you're not taking your drugs???
What eyes?
yea, there are sunrises, and sets, but its not so pretty. I look outside and see dreary with tree limbs.
The sun has been good here today. It has already set and the temperature remains at 72 F.
Just beautiful, we don't have sunrises like that here in the winter.
I love it!
It's like the sky's on fire.
Pretty...
Lawbrat, I'm sorry that you don't good sunrises and sets over there. I'll be sure to post the ones I can for you. :-)
Nick, that's great! We're going to be in the mid-20's and possibly get freezing rain tonight.
Nina,, thanks! Sometimes I think maybe being in Michigan isn't such a bad thing.
Pretty!!! Now all you need are some mountains... oh, what a coincidence -- WE have mountains here in Washington! Wanna move?
Eclectic, you are so sweet! If I had to choose what kind of dog you would be it would have to some kind of a sweet herding dog. You're always working on corralling everyone together. :-)
holy moley - those pictures make me think of Margaret Mitchell novels. We need Rhett and Scarlet standing out there and they'd be perfect.
Beautiful! The sunrise especially is breathtaking. We haven't been having any clouds to speak of here to make a decent show. Except for the two days of rain when it was TOO cloudy for sunrise/set! Thanks for sharing yours. :)
Beautifully done. I see what you are saying about the rays... very pretty.
Beautiful pictures, Squirl! I love when the sky showcases so many different colors.
Jim, as Gawd is my witness...
Ern, thanks! I hope you're not getting too much rain. Cali looks pretty rainy right now.
August, thank you. I really appreciate that.
Ladybug, thanks! Isn't nature gorgeous sometimes?
I love the time-lapse effect. That is one gorgeous sunrise! I've taken a few lately that I've been thinking of posting too. It makes me think of you when I take those photos. :-D
Danielle, can't wait to see your pictures. I love it that you think of me when you take that kind of picture. :-)
