I prefer my grandad's name..
Joseph O'shaughnessy.
"Erin Go Braugh-less" *giggle*
My cousin and I recently discovered that we're more Irish than we knew; Scotch-Irish to be exact. This revelation explains our thriftiness, and passion(also known as hotheadedness). ;)
Nick, thank you. I hope you found some joy and peace in yours.
Laurie, heeheehee.
Cathy, oh, I love it. I have an Irish surname. Not sure when they dropped the O'.
JDR, sounds more Gaelic to me.
Jeez, JDR, didn't see your second comment. You're funny. :)
tshsmom, gotta love being Irish. I know that's where our sense of humor comes from. Ichabod has the thrifty Scottish in his veins.
Sorcha MacMahon, apparently. And I'm going braugh-less for good measure, too. ;)
Ms E, so glad we can count on you to do the bragh-less thing for us.
With your red hair you sure look Irish.
Siobhan is a cool name. But Jade Kennedy isn't bad. :-)
Ciara O'Byrne
...I just wonder how to pronounce Ciara...
Fachnan O'Mahony
Effie, I'm not sure. I wonder if the first sound is ch.
Bone, that's a good one. Did you make that up???
Chloe Guinness
M_D, hmm, sounds like time for a beer.
Holy crap, how did I miss this?
My Irish name is Aoife McNamara, though I fail to see how this is any more Irish than my real name!
I played nice and went with the name it gave me. If I went with a name that I made up, it would be something like Robin Banks.
Bucky, you're right. Your name is Irish enough, as is mine. :)
Bone, I love it!
