Full moon again
I was on my way to work this morning when I saw the full moon. Since I was rushing I didn't try a second shot. The blurriness was a disappointment, but I'm posting it anyway.
Then I got to see the sunrise and had to grab a few photos. Michigan is very gloomy in the winter and I want to be able to look back at these when I need some color and sunshine.
This one was about twenty minutes later when I was dropping my car off for service.

You always catch the best sky stuff. I always look at it on my way to work (late) and think, "Aw, crap, I wish I had my camera!"
I had the COOLEST shot this morning when letting Jack Attack out to potty and I said, "Oooh, I should step in and get the camera! Nah."
Beautiful sunrise pics and I didn't even know we were having a full moon. Need to stop looking at my feet. Taking the time in the morning is a good thing!
Bucky and Mr B, I hate to leave my camera at home anymore. It seems that every time I do I miss a great shot.
Kitty-Vampire, Thanks! You're right about the nice drive. And I love DIRECT ROUTE!
August, it took me too long to post that last comment and missed you. Gotta look up. You miss too much.
Lovely photos!! I took my camera out for a spin yesterday to catch some fall foliage for the EXACT SAME REASON -- to fortify myself for the long, dreary days in January. Maybe I'll post them instead of hording them.
Thanks, Eclectic! You've gotta have something to keep your spirits up during the gloomy winter. But I wouldn't mind if you were to post them earlier.
They are beautiful . . . I love the full moon and the sunrise. Thanks for sharing them!
So pretty!! A full moon--Owwoooooo!
Imagine that scene on The Simpsons with their oval clouds and the big factories in the foreground with a pretty yellow sunrise behind and that's what I saw this morning--kinda cool--it looked cartoony!
Hi, Nanina, thanks! I enjoy pictures of those things too. I never mind sharing them.
Effie, thanks. Tee-hee, the Simpsons. You really need to take your camera with you. Do you have a Flickr account? It is so easy to post pictures that way.
I knew a full moon was coming just from the flaky customers I had on Friday.
It was gorgeous this morning with lots of stars and little fluffy clouds highlighted by the moon.
Last night we left to grocery shop around 1230 our time, and the moon was amazing. I looked at it for along time and then said, gee I hope the werewolves dont get us, and we were off!
I was not awake by the time the sun came up...
tshsmom, I'm glad you had nice weather to see your full moon, too. Sorry your customer were luneys. tee hee
Jess, so glad that the werewolves didn't get you.
There was a full moon this morning (that's early morning) when we were putting the garbage out. It stayed in the sky even after the sun came up!
On my way in, the sun was like a big orange ball of fire on the horizon--so beautiful (and I was SO happy I keep my sunglasses in the car)and all I was thinking was "Squirl would like that one--where's a camera when I need one!"
Hi, Tardist, and thanks! I almost didn't get that last shot. I'm glad I did. And I hope you enjoy using Flickr.
Kitty, stupid clouds. I thought werewolves bayed at the moon???
Effie, I would have loved that. You really need to bring that camera with you. :-)
Shots like that make getting up so early almost bearable.
Kranki, I agree. Getting up at O-dark-thirty isn't fun. But you do get some good pictures some days.
