Sunset time

I felt the urge to post some more sunset pictures. This was the weekend before this one and it was still cold and a bit snowy out. Because it was cold and windy some of these were taken outside and some were taken from inside the car. Inside the car with a dirty, pitted windshield.

Got up the nerve to go outside of the car again

I was too cold to stay for more. There were some more brilliant, beautiful colors, but this is all that I got. It was fun.

Awesome photos as always Squirl. I love the sun through the trees picture and the last one too. The colors of the water are really spectacular.

Looks good!

I don't see the sunset much these days. It is setting while I'm at work, and we are at the wrong angle to see it.

It is nice to share it through the internet. :-)

Kittn, the temp sure did drop. Cold and windy. Thanks :)

Eclectic, thanks! It was pretty chilly, at least, for a wuss like me.

dmmgmfm, thank you. I love the reflections on the water, too.

Nick, thanks! And you're so welcome, I just love to share my photos.

Danielle, I usually am irritated that Michigan is in Eastern time, but this time of year it really helps. I get out of work at 4:00 and still have time to see plenty of sunsets.

Ladybug, thank you. :)

Sierrabella, thanks, hon!

Absolutely gorgeous . . . I really could not tell the shots were taken through a dirty windshield.
I have to agree with St. Nick here, they are exquisite!

Them is downright purty, sis! I need to get outside more and do more natural stuff. It's not even unbearably cold out - I'm just lazy.

Amber, thanks! Nature does its own special effects, doesn't it?

Bucky, thanks lil sis. You should take some more outdoor shots. You'd have fun.

I love these pics. Such a 'pure' looking sunset. Does that sound weird?

Kranki, pure doesn't sound like a weird word in this case at all. I like it. Thanks!

Thanks, Effie!

We haven't had any good sunsets lately. Our sparkly, starry mornings have been fabulous though!

tshsmom, we had a few really beautiful starry mornings this past week. I can't get a picture of them, but I sure love to look at them.

Me too! I guess those mornings give us a feeling that can't be captured in a "Kodak moment".

There haven't been many nice sunsets here lately, either. A few days ago the cold front moved out and it got up to a whoppin' 27 degrees -- so it's okay that the sunsets suck since I don't do cold (I'm not missing anything). ;)

Love the photos, by the way!

Courtney, yeah, sometimes you wonder if the cold is worth it. There was a beautiful sight with the sun and clouds tonight, but I didn't have my camera. It was gone in a flash.

Sorry about your cold and snow. And thanks!

Good to see you got outside of the car. Much better that way.

There were some amazing sunsets last week. I had fun too!

Good Job, Kiddo;)

Kittn, same back to you, littlest sis!

Ladybug, same back to you. Actually, I've already stopped by your place to convey my wishes and laugh my ass off at the chin link. :)

JDR, a very Merry Christmas to your family, too!
