A little less wintery

This week's weather has been worse than the one in the previous post. I'm about done with the cold and the snow. Then Tweety left a comment and gave me the idea to post some flower pictures. Don't know about y'all but I'm ready for something that's not wintery.

And I think this one is my favorite. It's not a crop, it was shot this way.

Hope that warmed you up a bit. It cheered my spirits just to look at them.

Oh YAY - flowers!!! I'm just going to pretend that you posted these to send to our sis for a "get well" e-card. In which case, you're the best damn florist I ever knew, because these are gorgeous!!!

Hi, sis! Actually I was thinking about Susie when I put these up. I hope she feels up to stopping by and taking a look. Thanks!

That looks so much better than all that snow we are getting. Another 4-7 inches tonight into tomorrow again here. Dont know about you guys.

Jenski, that's what I was trying for. :-)

Bucky, I hope not in your driveway. But you could try. Kind of like digging for buried treasure.

Chia, I agree. How's your car?

Nina, thanks! So am I. Way more snow and very cold temps than I'm used to.

Tweety, thanks! I don't know how much snow we're expecting, but we're just not used to the temps getting so low. I like it when it's 20 or above and the salt will work on the roads.

Beautiful! I love the last one too. Great shot with the water drops. And I also like the second one. Such an unusual flower!

Danielle, I'm all about brightening up anyone's day. Especially in this gloomy winter time. :-)

Ern, thanks! I like the peony shot so well that I used it for the April picture on the calendar that I made. Passion flowers are so different and weird and beautiful, aren't they?

Tweetie, I think I'd rather get the snow than the ice they have predicted for us on Sunday. I'm looking forward to new flowers, too.

Aurora, hi! Thank you, and I'm glad you enjoyed them. :-)

Susie, hi sis! I'm glad you're enjoying the flowers, too. We really appreciate the alive, don't we? I always need a burst of color about this time of year. Next month should be the butterfly/orchid time at the local Garden. So tempted to get a better camera.

The Cancer Society sells daffodils every year in the middle of March. That's the perfect time of year to have fresh flowers blooming in our homes! Daffodil Day always brightens my winter deadened life.

Lovely flowers, even if they are a few days old! ;)
Ours here can't tell what to do...somedays they see the sun, some days we cover them up to protect from the layers of ice.
