Just a weekend post
I know it's Saturday and practically no one reads the blogs on the weekend. But I haven't put out a new post since Wednesday and that's probably bad blog protocol.
We're back in Grand Rapids. Of course somebody was playing loud music around 5:00 this morning. I got couldn't go back to sleep so I got up to check Jess's and Bucky's sites to see if anyone'd posted anything. Got to see them in their picture together. After a while I went back to bed and actually slept a couple more hours. That's amazing for me. Usually once I'm up, well, I'm up. It was soooo nice.
Now Ichabod's out riding his bike, I'm watching Jumanji on TBS and just plain relaxing. Last night he took me out to nice steak place in GR called Louis Benton's. I had steak and shrimp while he had the salmon special. I guess the reason I bring this up is because I just finished my leftovers.
Anyway, I hope everyone has a lovely weekend, Canada day and Fourth of July.

Hey, Squirl, I'm like you, once I'm awake, I stay that way, no matter how freakin' early it is, so congrats on going back to sleep! Your dinner and leftovers sound yummy. Sorry you came back to the noise. Rats!

The weekend is my favorite blogging time. Such a bummer too, cause I usually want to post 4 things over the weekend... it is hard to save them for later.

hmmm haven't seen Jumanji before, although I hear that I should watch it. Just finished watching Troy on HBO. I liked it.
Although why anyone would name a city after that whiney Paris is beyond me.
Now Hector and Achilles, those are honorable men worth naming cities for (at least in the movie version of their lives). Not to mention the great thighs on display by those two.

Danielle, I know. When I first started blogging I got bummed out on the weekends cause no one was doing much posting or much commenting. I guess I can understand.
Yeah, Jumanji was fun. Troy has some good thigh shots in it, huh? Mebbe I should watch it, too. ;-)

What a bummer to be in such a peaceful, relaxing place, and then to come home to the noisy neighbors again. But I'm glad you were able to go back to sleep. Nothing better than sleeping in. I'm hoping to do that again someday. :o)
Hi Ladybug, maybe when your kids are, perhaps, teenagers, you'll be able to sleep in. You'll need to as you'll have been up half the night waiting for them to come home. :-)

I blog on weekends too. I've discovered that most bloggers, blog at work; must be nice. That's why there's a lack of activity on the weekends.

Siily Squirl, weekends are the best for blogging! It's just that it feels like you're breaking the rules because hardly anyone else is out there commenting. I have to join the consensus on Troy -- the eye candy alone is worth the time, but as a happy bonus, the movie is actually well done too! Hope the noisy neighbors move away soon.

I read some on the weekends, especially if its too hot out or raining, I havent had as much time to blog since we got the Hermione beast, too much puppy chasing, used to be when the kids were gone it was my computer time, now its the time that no one else is here to watch the beast. heh.

The puppy does keep us busy, but she is growing so fast I cant say I mind spending the time with her as I know it will be all too soon that she will be a big couch potato.
We had a great time this weekend, I posted my totally 100% true stories about it. You should come along next time.
