The surprise
I got to meet Nina yesterday! I love going to her blog and chatting with her on other people's blogs, too. So yesterday she was going to be traveling from Phoenix back home to Colorado. And she was able to stop by in Sedona on her way through!
She had her puppy, Mateo, with her. Such a little sweetie. And Nina is a sweetie, too. The visit wasn't very long as she had a very long distance to drive yet. But got to talk and visit intensely for a bit. I'm so pleased she was able to make.
I wasn't going to mention peeing on the green rug, but she already did. Poor little guy doesn't really understand about going on gravel. But a green, shaggy thing? Well, that did it for him. And he was fast, as Nina had a hawkeye (sorry) on him the whole time.
Anyway, couldn't let this one go without a photo. Thanks, again, Nina for stopping by.

Your picture is so much better. I am putting it with the one on my blog. So on Flicker Tardist asked if that was one of the coyotes? Had me laughing. . . hawkeye, made me laugh too.
Mateo will now have the nickname coyote. . . :)
Thank you, Squirl and Ichabod for the great morning yesterday! Hope you have a wonderful stay in Arizona and a safe trip home.
Glad you two got together! Perhaps someday I’ll be able to meet fellow bloggers in person.
Chia, thank you. I'm glad she made it, too.
Nina, well, you look good in both of them. I look like a dork in both, so use this one if you like. I thought you might like the hawkeye reference. :)
And now Mateo is our little coyote. He's certainly tough enough for that nickname. And that was actually Bucky. She was visiting and using my brother's computer and forgot to log in on her own. tee hee
Nick, it's rewarding, yet almost surreal about meeting a fellow blogger. Even if that person has posted his/her own image, it still feels different being in that person's presence. I hope you're able to meet bloggers in person. It's worth it. Thanks!
Wow....what a great location. To be there instead of here (where people don't tan - they rust). Looks like you're having a ball in Arizona!
Blogger sightings!
Jim, I've been having a great time. I've done some reading, some shopping, some eating, and even watched General Hospital. :)
I have been taking pictures and promise a post about the place where we're staying.
Mr B, I don't know when we'll be down your way, but I'll try to catch up with you guys if/when we do.
What a terrific bonus to your trip in AZ! How happy!
And a nice picture to remember your meeting by. Matteo looks like a cutie.
Oh fun--meeting friends...if you ever pop up to Canada let's make sure we meet up!
Nice pic!
Give us plenty of notice there Sqrrrl. I'll have to save my pennies and hire a couple of stunt doubles so as to not disappoint you. I'll be the ungodly handsome one with pearly teeth, yet still very approachable. Bone Machine will be the short pale tanned one that screams when the sun is out. (Money does change everything!)
Danielle, yes, it definitely was. And Mateo is an adorable little ball of fluff.
Effie, we went through Hamilton back in March '05. Had I known you lived there we could've met up for lunch. Maybe next time.
Mr B, money definitely does. :)
Awesome! I am glad that you are having fun!!!
I am still rooting for a nice get-together for all of our midwest bloggers.
Hi there1 Thought I dropped off the face of the blogiverse, huh? At least, the commenting part of it.
You are just the blogger meetin'est Squirl! I'm so glad you guys decided on Sedona this year and your visit with Nina worked out.
Amber, thanks! Yes, I hope we can get together, sooner rather than later. Like I said, it's a little surreal meeting someone in person after knowing her/him for a year through the computer. But you got to live close to Danielle so you know what I mean.
Bucky, I'm glad you made it over. Yes, I love meeting my blog friends. And Sedona is gorgeous, too. :)
Oh, wow. You lucky girls.
Thanks for the conversation last night, Squirl. heh. I first tried to spell Squirl with a "P." Silly me ;)
Susie, yes, definitely lucky. If we ever get over your way I have to meet you, too!
You're welcome and thank you for the conversation last night.
And you can spell my name any way you want. :)
I'm sooooooooooo envious!!!! You have all the luck, Squirly-girl!!! And you too, Nina! I'd give a lot to be able to hug you both today. Glad you had the chance to connect in person. Ain't blogging grand?!
Eclectic, thanks! One of these days we'll be having that party at Nina's. Then you can show us how margarita drinking is really done. :)
Lucky you meeting a fellow blogger. And sitting in the sunshine. Hope the trip continues to be amazing.
Kranki, thanks! As soon as I quit being lazy I'm going to put up another post. I've got so many pictures to post.
