Pop quiz for Friday

Update: Answer to this weekend's pop quiz.

For those who guessed it was something in a blender - you're right! It's a thick smoothie made from frozen banana, plain yogurt, soy milk, and a mixed berry blend - strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, and raspberries. The reason it has this cool shape is probably that it's really thick. I used as little soy milk as I could get away with.

I thoroughly enjoyed everyone's answers, right or wrong. Thanks for playing!

Who knows what this is?

I have to say a fancey bar of soap because it looks like it has bubbles on top of it. But then again it could be some kind of jewlery. One of the two. LOL.. You have a great weekend too.

I think it's Pepto Bismol vomit.

I guessing a smoothie, by the looks of a blenderish glass and and and the smoothieish looking pink stuff. Perhaps a strawberry cherry or strawberry blueberry? Hmmm....or it could be an alcholic beverage of some kind.

But definitely smoothieish. I looked really hard on flickr and that is my guess.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say it is a spit blossom.

I once saw something like that hawked up on a sidewalk. I'm hoping that this is actually something more pleasant.

This is what is known as a “Hurl Swirl”. Hurl Swirls are naturally occurring, in nature (derr!), whereupon a child over does it with an entire bag of Star Bursts (a registered trademark) fruit candies. (Most often this affect is caused by the unnatural and DISGUSTING non-standard flavors of Star Bursts fruit candies.)

If the condition is allowed to persist, anal leakage can occur, which is similar in color and texture (though not in smell or taste) and is referred to, in the medical world, as RegurgiSquirt.

Bon appetite!

Soap would be my guess. I am not voting with Bucky on that pepto bismol vomit.

I'm with ladymadaysia - it's something in a blender. Otherwise it's just too horrible to contemplate...

The first thing that came to my mind was, "It looks like something funky happened to a splat of Pepto Bismol."

I would have to say that I agree with Bucky. Vomit is definitely funky.

I know what it is, but I was threatened with a beating like I haven't had since I was a child if I revealed the secret.

It's in a blender so I'm going to say some sort of smoothie. It looks like milk (the white parts). Flavor and color wise though I have no clue. It's awfully pink, that's for sure!

I think it looks far too symmetrical to be a smoothie, although that is certainly creative.

I noticed that it has exactly 4 petal shapes, 4 pinched in areas and 4 protruding areas. Also, it has exactly three skinny leaf shapes between each outcropping. So it is definitely manmade.

Jewelry? maybe
Candle? maybe
Artistic representation of a flower? probably

Those are my guesses, I guess. ;-)

Is it a jellyfish? I don't know how you'd have got that close to one (unless you're a secret jellyfish farmer) but that's what it looks like to me. That or the vomit...

I'm still sticking with something blended, as many of the blended beverages that I have made before tend to have odd patterns in them sometimes.

I am going to add that I think someone added pepto bismal. It is just sooo pink. ;)

Ladymadaysia, so did you have a smoothie?

Bucky, no, no melting Peeps. No Pepto either.

Effie, I'm not big on cow's milk. I prefer soy milk. Sometimes I drink rice milk, too.
