More snow

Yes, we've still been getting snow and cold temps. This winter has not been my favorite. But the snow this morning was heavy and slow. I tried to get a picture of it stuck to the trees, but my camera doesn't work so well in the dark. Looks like the flash caught the close-up snowflakes.

Well, I'm posting them anyway. I should really post a picture of the last from last spring when it was flowering. Just for contrast and all, you know. :-)

If you click on this and look at all sizes, the large will actually show you the trees.

This one is a cool effect. Check out the large size if you get a chance.

Here's the tree that will be covered in beautiful blossoms in spring.

This is more what it will look like in a few months.

Does it bleed into the indoors too, or does it tend to stay put? I wouldn't be too crazy about the stuff bleeding into the living room.

It bleeds in on our shoes.

Those first few make me feel like I'm in a spaceship!

Mr B, I don't know about bleeding, but it does tend to follow us in.

Bucky, I guess that's the way it bleeds.

Space, the final frontier...

The snow missed us this time around over our trip. Thankfully. I hate driving with it snowing or raining for that matter. Hopefully it gets nice sooner rather than later for us all.

Tweety, this turned out not to be such a bad one. The streets were cleared by the time I went home.

But, I'm with you. I'm ready to be done with it.

The tree looks almost the same in both pictures. :) We got a little snow today and then rain. Makes for very cold slush!

The snow does make for some pretty pictures. Sucky driving conditions, but pretty pictures. :)

Hey, did you see the squirrel pic over on I Can Has Cheeseburger?? I thought of you right away (you'll have to scroll down to see it). :)

Jenski, slush is what we ended up with on the roads yesterday. But it did look pretty on the trees for a bit.

CK, you got that right about the snow. I'll have to check out the Cheeseburger site. I love it over there and it cracks me up when they have squirrels. Thanks!

You know, people think of MN as having a lot of snow, but we have had nowhere near as much as you. Is that lake effect snow?

Regardless, the photo of the tree in bloom is just lovely.

I kind of like how the trees look in the first one, like little ghost trees or sumpin. :P

Danielle, yes, lake effect snow. It's lovely to be here in the summer as the lake breeze cools things off. We even have slightly warmer temps in the winter. But it does make for some big snow banks, too. I just couldn't resist showing the difference a few months will make in those trees.

Courtney, exactly what I thought was cool about it!

Chia, at least it will be getting warmer when the trees look like the last picture. ;-p

We had high 50's today, I am so ready for spring I can't see straight. Even though winter hasn't been that bad.
Love your snow photos, that is how I prefer to see snow. Love your spring tree, won't be long.

Sorry about the snow and cold, Squirl. I am hoping winter will soon be over and your last photo will be the real thing. The other photos are magnificent—although I am reminding that winter beauty can quickly get old.
