Short post with picture

I see that the last time I posted was Friday the 13th. Can't really call it a jinx that I haven't posted since then. There's just been nice weather, yard work, and not as much time in front of the computer.

Nothing major to report, except of course, that my sister, Bucky, got a job! We have to readjust our General Hospital watching, but hey, not important. I'm so happy for her that she's working in a field that appeals to her.

So, since I have nothing exciting to talk about, I'll leave you this evening with a sunset picture.

Veddy pretty! I'm sure Mom would have found a food-related description for that sunset. :)

Congratulations, Bucky!

I really like the silhouettes in that photo of the grasses, hill and trees. Also the reflection on the water is nice. Very pretty shot, squirl!

Kranki, thanks! You and Yoshi have a great weekend, too!

Chia, thanks! :-)

Bucky, thanks. And you know she would've. :-)

Danielle, thanks! I just I could have gotten there earilier as it was brighter, more dramatic, and a different dynamic. Well, at least I got what I did.

Well lets start off the comment with a Congrat Bucky and beautiful sunset photo Squirl. I have my front yard pix posted but down a couple of posts. My yard looks horrible. It really needs a makeover.

Tweety, I did come over and check it out. I think the others were right in saying that you need to get your yard good and wet in order to pull out the bushes. Not sure what to tell you to put in. It's really easy if you have loads of money. It also helps if you have a neighbor with an established garden who has extra plants coming up. I'll come over and finish commenting at your site.

E, thanks! Hi back, sis!

Laurie, thanks so much. Hugs right back to you!

Squirl I have been told that my friends are getting e-mails from me. They are not from me. I have to delete my hotmail account. I have my new e-mail in my profile.

Sierrabella, I hope the fires don't get any closer. You guys usually have it pretty hot out there don't you? Bucky's having an interesting time in her new job. Thanks!

No excitement here either...not even a good sunset. We do have plenty of rain though. Would you like to borrow a nice, fresh cup of rainwater?

My Dad taught me to appreciate sunset pictures from an early age and that photo is exactly what he was talking about. It's beautiful!

And congrats to Bucky!! Either of you have DVR for General Hospital? :-)

tshsmom, we're going to be getting some rain tonight. But, at least we've had some sun, too.

Nina, thanks, and thanks!!!

Jenski, your father's a wise man. The only thing that might beat a good sunset is a good sunrise.
Yes, Bucky has the DVR. I could get one and we could watch at my house, but I wouldn't get to interact with her insane cats then. :-)

Bone, thanks! Wish I could show you guys the earlier picture but I was on the road. It was hot pink and a totally different cloud/ray thing. But I'm still plenty happy with this one.
