Flowers and butterflies
It's that time of year again. Frederick Meijer Garden has it's butterfly display. It's also orchid time. I put a set out on Flickr. Here's the link to the set.
But these don't really give you a good idea what the flowers look like. So I decided to crop a few to show here. Please click on them and choose all sizes. They look so lovely in the large size.

Those are beautiful! So colorful and cheery. Thanks for sharing!
You had to put the scary flower with the mean face in here to frick me out, didn't you?
Zena warrior princess flower is so badass. Love the pics, hope to see you post some of the others soon :-)
Jenski, thanks! And you're welcome.
Bucky, oops sorry. Forgot that one was scary.
Chia, thanks! We'll see.
Thanks for putting some color into my life this week!
I can't believe that 3 years ago you didn't even have a digital camera! Thanks for sharing these, as always they are gorgeous. :)
I have looked through a bunch of your set on Flickr. What a terrific way to welcome in Spring. Your photos of the orchids are just exquisite. Each one is more spectacular than the one before.
I love the butterfly photo too. That would definitely be worth posting here, I'd think.
Wow these are beautiful. I thought I had a favorite until I saw the next one and then I just couldnt decide after that. Amazingly beautiful. You capture the most precious colors in them. Thanks for sharing.
Seeing these wonderful photos while the sun warms by back has just made this Monday totally fabulous.
tshsmom, you're welcome. We all need color right now.
Platy, thanks so much! Hope things are going well for you.
Danielle, thank you so much. I should tag that moth photo now that I know what it is. That's the only way I could get that good a picture is that it's a night creature and was sleeping.
Thanks, Tweety, I feel the same way myself. I guess each one that I look at is my favorite at that moment. You're welcome.
Kranki. anything that can make a Monday totally fabulous must be special. Thanks for making me feel that way.
You have sun, but it's been pouring here today. I'm glad, though. My little green buddies are getting colored tops on them now. The rain is really needed.
I love orchards, Squirl! Thanks for the superb pics!
Thank you, Nick!
So beautiful! Orchids are always such unusual shapes and color patterns. But I think you slipped in a lily at the end, no? ;)
Hi, Ern! Not trying to fool you. There are other flowers in the Gardens. That one was just worthy of a closeup. :-)
WOWZA! I love the leopardy look of the last orchid before the lily. You're good at this, sis!
Hi, E! Thanks!!!
