Some kind of apple
I don't know what kind of apple tree this is but I love to see the flowers every spring. I'm glad I took the pictures yesterday because today it rained really hard and the flowers are mostly on the ground. Yesterday's weather was so perfect that I didn't do anything to fix the color on these shots. They really look best in large size, so if you click on the picture and choose All Sizes you can see better detail.
This one is my computer background. It's perfect because the blue sky on the left gives plenty of room for my desktop icons.

Those are wonderful photos, Squirl. That tree reminds me of the apple tree in my Aunt Lill’s yard that I used to climb (much to her dismay) when I was a wee tike.
Thank you for voting for my LOL cat pickture, Miss Squirl. I promise not to chase little squirrelies—for at least a little while. OK?
Those are great! I love it when people post photos I can use as desktop photos. :-)
Don't fart under the apple tree
With anyone else but me.
(Very pretty...the blue sky just pops behind the trees, too!)
Thanks, Nick! I was always too afraid of heights to climb trees. But it seems like it would be fun.
Alex, you're welcome. The squirrels would welcome the respite, but it would be better if you promise not to attack Nick's nose hose. Okay? :-)
Jenski, thanks! Enjoy your desktop!
Bucky, now you know that's going through my head. Thanks, about the blue. I couldn't believe how well they turned out without any tweaking.
Now that is something beeautiful to have in your yard.
Don't you just love tree flowers?? I think part of why I'm so enamoured is because they only bloom just the one time each year. Our dogwood is just opening up, and I swear, I could sit outside looking at it all day long. So gorgeous!! I love your close-ups of the actual blossoms.
I looked at one of the close-ups in the large size. It was really gorgeous.
Where is this tree? Is it somewhere where you see it a lot?
Always a great way to ring in the morning... as I sneeze and snot my way through nature :-)
Thanks Sis!
I'm with Chia! I'm still sneezing from all the leaf mold. When, and IF, we get spring, I'll be sneezing from all the pollen in the air. It'll be worth it though...I think. ;)
I miss the apple trees we had. We had to cut them down to make room for the garage. :(
Tweety, these happen to be at work, but that's fine, too. :-)
E, yes, I'm seeing the redbud trees get their leaves and lose the blossoms now. It's sad but inevitable. You guys are behind us. The dogwoods have been out for at least a week or more here. I love those, too. Thanks!
Danielle, thanks! It's right outside the door I go in and out of at work. There's a whole line of them, maybe four, but this one's the easiest for me to get.
Chia, at least the pictures shouldn't make you sneeze. The blossoms are mostly on the ground now, too. Thank you!
tshsmom, sorry about your allergies, too. We've had a bit of a cooler spring. I can't imagine being as far north as you are. brrrr Too bad the apple trees had to make way for the garage, but you really needed that garage.
