Moon over Sedona

Our trip happened to coincide with the full moon. I've been disappointed with my full moon pictures in the past. But I really like these. Something for the coyotes to howl at. :)

And, as always, these will show better if you click on them and choose All Sizes.

Ooooh, you know I love moon pictures (well, both kinds).

How the hell did we ever explain our vacations before we had digital cameras?

Bucky, I'm guessing that we could only bore those close to us with our 35mm and slides. Now we can bore the entire internet. Mwahahahahaha

Thanks!

Far from boring, but beautiful.

Nina, thank you! I liked these moon pictures so well that I decided to give them their very own post.

My next one will likely be pictures I took as we've hiked around here a bit.

I love the red/orange of the rocks compared to the blue sky. The moon in that first picture adds a nice touch.

For me, the moon the other night (appeared to be full) was rising and it was partially behind some clouds and looked very very yellow. It was almost spooky looking.

Absolutely stunning. I cannot believe the colors!

And I agree with Nina...boring? NO WAY!

Danielle, I was happy to be able to get that picture. I like the different colors, too. I hope you got a picture of the one you're describing. I'd love to see it.

Soozie, I just love the colors out here, too. The red rock is fantastic. And thank you!

Wow! What great pictures. Thanks for posting them.

I see them at a moment when I am fed up with being where I am. Perhaps I’ll head west!

Nick, thanks! It really is gorgeous out here in red rock country. I know there are a lot of pretty places in this great country, but I really like this one.

Are you thinking about visiting or moving?

Yes! I can SEE! Great colors!

(Sexy feet there Bod of the Ich, hehe)

Jim, what's even better is that they weren't all taken on the same night. The magic of movie editing.

Now if I could just get the credits to roll...

Mr B, yes, I looked it up on Flickr's user help (or whatever it's called) and I did have to make them downloadable. But, hey, if you can see the colors then it was worth it to me.

And the feet thing is funny because we joked about people with a foot fetish checking out that picture. :)

I didn't want to say anything, but yeah - Ich does have some pretty feet.

Bucky, darn it. He just took those feet out for a hike. I'll be sure to tell him when he gets back.

And what does my wv mean?

OK wait, I don't even see Ichabod's feet in this series. Last I knew they were in the Arizona Room, relaxing on the couch. So, is this Ichabod's full moon, too?

Eclectic, I'm afraid it's only his feet in the previous post. I'm keeping his moon private. I'm selfish that way. :)

The colour of the sky contrasting with the colour of the earth is wonderful in the first photos.

Chia, I'll tell you all about when I'm back next week. Probably more detail about quails and coyotes than you'd ever want to hear.

Miss you too.
