Flowering Tree
I took these pictures last week of these trees where I work. They are so full of blossoms this year. I'm glad I got the pictures when I did. They're starting to lose petals. When that happens it looks like a white carpet. Anyway, here are the pictures. And, as always, they look better when you click on them to see the large size.

Thems pertifull.
I can almost smell them . . . at least they look like they would smell. As always beautiful!
I LOVE these blossoms! Looks like apple blossoms....

it goes deaf
Look at the deep, deep blue of the sky in that last one especially! Wow!! Gorgeous!!
Those trees are incredible.
How pretty!
I love the last one the best, because you captured the flowers on the branches relatively close-up but also the blue of the sky.
Just lovely.
Mr B, thanks! So glad that they didn't make you sneeze. :)
Nina, there are a lot of them and the wonderful scent is overwhelming.
Effie, I think they're in the apple family. Thanks!
Eclectic, thanks! Actually, I'd taken other pictures of them the day before but the sky was overcast. When it was this blue the next day I didn't waste any time getting out my camera.
Kranki, thanks! I love to see them bloom every year.
Danielle, thanks! Sometimes it's hard to know what's a good shot until it's in the computer and on the screen. Some of those feel like I lucked out. :)
Sooo, frekaing beautiful, especially the last one.
Way awesome!
Amber, thanks! White seems to be the tree color of the day. :)
Beautimus!
Nina's right...you can almost smell the fragrant blossoms as the gentle breeze carries the scent over the computer screen.
cxnhwmzx...for that burning itch no one wants to talk about. :o)
MD, thanks! But I'm mostly laughing at your word ver. :D
Oh wow Squirl! I absolutely love the last one. You are quite the photograp-her.
"...white carpet..."
Isn't that what happens with age?
*achoo!*
Delayed reaction.
Beautiful trees! What kind are they?
Lori, thank you!
Bucky, now we'll have no monkey business on this site.
Mr B, oops! Sorry. :)
Ladybug, thanks! I think they're some kind of flowering crab. Something in the apple family.
Absolutely GORGEOUS!!!
::::aaaaahhhh-chooooooo::::
Sorry about that though...my allergies are horrible this time of year ;-)
Kittn, tee hee.
Soozie, thanks! Oh, and bless you. :)
Those trees remind me of a neighborhood in which I lived about twenty years ago. Beautiful!
do you know the name of these? I'm not sure I've ever seen one. Just beautiful.
and I've been stealing Swampy's photos all this time for my desktop, I now know to check out your beautiful site too!
Nick, thanks!
KY Brat, I think it might be a flowering crab. Thanks!
I had a crab apple tree in my yard as a kid, but I don't remember it ever being that beautiful.
and.. I have forget-me-nots on my desktop! They are so pretty. Thanks.
KY Brat, you're welcome.
Hi Squirl,
Great pictures. Love the blue sky :)
Pretty! Don't you wish they'd last for more than a few weeks? We need to invent a tree that flowers 6 months out of the year. :)
I have to wake my daughter up and show her these. She loves flowering trees and taking pics of themis kinda a hobby of hers.
Alas, all this rain has pretty much removed al the blossoms around here!
August, thanks! We need that now. The skies have been gray for days.
Jim, oh, I so agree. Of course, I'm not allergic to them, either. ;)
GWB, I hope your daughter liked them. Yeah, the rain is getting ours here, too. Well, I guess we need that rain if the summer flowers are going to have a chance.
