Photos from my Summer Solstice

Well, of course I took pictures on Wednesday. First are the pictures from a friend's yard.

This rose had some rust on the edges, but it was so beautiful otherwise that I took the picture anyway.

Here's another rose. As you can see, there was quite a good rain that day.

Then a big, lovely clematis.

And she found that there were five baby bluebirds in the bluebird house. They're a little easier to see if you check out the large version.

Then, after I got home, Ichabod and I took a walk around town.

And I even found wildflowers in town. :)

Lovely pics, Squirl. I really like the ones of the flowers with the raindrops on them.

But shame on you! Posting photos of your clematis online! Your dirty girl!

(Hee. Sorry. Couldn't resist. :)

Hahahahaha, Ladybug. I just can't help showing my clematis when, IMHO, it's so gorgeous. ;)

Thanks, I love to get pictures of flowers when there are water drops on them.

Wonderful photographs, Squirl! Thanks! That first one of the rose is astonishing. I really need to find the time to plant and care for a rose garden.

Jim, I'd be honored with that moniker! Thanks. You know, if you keep that up you're going to be inundated with more photos. :)

Nick, thanks! I wish I could grow roses like that, too. Thank goodness I have a friend who shares her garden with me.

Totally enjoyed the tour!
Since I have (the dreaded) dial-up service, I went and watered my plants while your pictures downloaded, and came back in to a nice surprise on my screen!

Sierrabella, I always wonder about the folks who use dial-up. Thanks for hanging in there!

Honestly, Squirl, your walks never cease to interest me.

As always, beautiful flower pictures. I am partial to the clematis myself.

What is with the three eyed thing on that door?

Very creepy.

And I am guessing "Alumin8" is a club?

Thanks for the wonderful walk pictures again.

I'm not trying to start anything, but kranki's over there calling you a "nut slut"! (You didn't hear it from me.)

These pictures are wonderful. I love the cat face on the door.

Bucky, you're so welcome. Now I think I'll go air out the sleeping bag that I let you use.

Susie, I caught that slander over there. Thanks for helping uphold my reputation as "not a slut, nut or otherwise." ;)

Thanks! And isn't that cat face weird???
