Things are looking up. Well, at least my camera and I are
After giving you ground shots of the mushrooms, here are some shots in the other direction.
We've been lucky with some sunny days and interesting cloud patterns. I won't post them all here. If you'd like to look at the rest just click on any one and you'll go to my Flickr site.
This starts a different day from the previous.

Totally awesome pictures! I love the patterns in the clouds and the tree with the sun behind it is amazing. I'm in awe of your camera prowess and very jealous of your weather. I haven't seen the sun in days! Send some of that heavenly blue sky my way, please.
Hi, Laurie, thanks! I love it when the right conditions present themselves. And we have had some sun a lot more days than normal lately.
I hope your weather gets better for you soon.
All I know is, the sun shines in and bugs the piss out of me when I'm trying the sleep the kittens are hanging from my curtains. :)
Great series of pics, sis!
Bucky, sooooo, sunny days are over-rated? Thanks!
Them's pertiful.
Thank ya, rightly, Mr B.
The first photo is my favorite. What a cool pattern!
Ladybug, I couldn't believe how beautiful the clouds were that day. I was also lucky that I had my camera and was able to get those pictures.
Squirl, I just want you to know... that you adorn my desktop more than any other... (your pics that is)
Are you making money off these? I swear! People will pay for these.. you know that don't ya?
Wow, those early pictures look positively summery with that beautiful blue sky!
In the third one from the bottom, if you took out the trees, it looks like it could be an aerial shot of the ocean. Me likes!
I still think you should do calendars.
KY Brat, thanks! I just take them because I like to. This is a pretty new hobby for me and, since it's digital, a pretty inexpensive one. But, you keep that kinda talk up and you're going to turn my head. :)
Platypus, I know. It's so out of the ordinary for winter in Michigan. I swear we've seen more sun since winter officially began than we usually do all winter.
Courtney, you're right! I hadn't thought of it like that. If you ignore the trees it really looks like water. Thanks!
Bucky, thanks! I almost made one for Ichabod's grandmother this Christmas but I didn't get to it.
I so love sky pictures and they are just beautiful. Sunshine is never over-rated!
these sky photos are magnificent! I love the way the sun shines through those trees--and the wispy clouds always give such a great effect!
The sun is shining brightly today and I'm enjoying what I can of it--through the windows--too cold to go outside with my little one yet!
Oh those are just beautiful I have to admit. We have had some beautiful weather here in Wisconsin too. I have some sunsets up on my blog somewhere. I got your name from tshsmoms blog. i just thought I would stop and say hi finally. Keep taking pix. They are just pretty. We had sun this mornign but its gotten cloudy for this afternoon. That is ok. Well I have to go get ready to go get my oldest from school. She has this after school program and she just loves it. Well stop by anytime and say hi and I will try to remember everyone and say hi sooner or later. Tweets.
Nina, I love sky pictures, too. Don't tell Bucky, but I love sunny days, too.
Effie, hi there little mama! Thanks, I was excited that I had the chance to get those pictures. In a few months you'll be taking Katrina all over the place.
Tweets, thank you! I've seen you over at tshsmom's also. Thanks for stopping by. I'll come by and say hi at your place. too. :)
Sure, you HAD to one-up me, didn't you? ;)
Those are GORGEOUS!!!!
Thanks, tshsmom! They're certainly different subject matter than yours. I love your snow pictures.
What beautiful skies. We had a sunny day here (finally!!) and it was sooo nice. Cheered me up.
Kranki, aren't they beautiful? I'm so glad you had some clear weather. I think a sunny day is cheery.
Squirl, you ARE going to have an exhibition is a real gallery someday, aren’t you? I have a pastor friend who lives in Holland (MI) who has an in at a gallery in Zeeland (MI).
I've been by everyday this week, but this is the first that I'm looking at your photos without light shining in my face and throwing off the colors.
I can't believe how blue the sky is there. It is just gorgeous. And your photos with the white clouds really set it off in a wonderful way. You've done a really good job with these. I like them a lot. :-)
SS Nick, you are really too nice. Thanks. Maybe I will get the name of that Holland pastor, though. :)
Danielle, thanks! The skies have been pretty interesting so far this winter. Much different from the usual gray, gray, gray.
Well said.
