Things are looking up. Well, at least my camera and I are

After giving you ground shots of the mushrooms, here are some shots in the other direction.

We've been lucky with some sunny days and interesting cloud patterns. I won't post them all here. If you'd like to look at the rest just click on any one and you'll go to my Flickr site.

Totally awesome pictures! I love the patterns in the clouds and the tree with the sun behind it is amazing. I'm in awe of your camera prowess and very jealous of your weather. I haven't seen the sun in days! Send some of that heavenly blue sky my way, please.

Hi, Laurie, thanks! I love it when the right conditions present themselves. And we have had some sun a lot more days than normal lately.

I hope your weather gets better for you soon.

Ladybug, I couldn't believe how beautiful the clouds were that day. I was also lucky that I had my camera and was able to get those pictures.

Squirl, I just want you to know... that you adorn my desktop more than any other... (your pics that is)

Are you making money off these? I swear! People will pay for these.. you know that don't ya?

In the third one from the bottom, if you took out the trees, it looks like it could be an aerial shot of the ocean. Me likes!

KY Brat, thanks! I just take them because I like to. This is a pretty new hobby for me and, since it's digital, a pretty inexpensive one. But, you keep that kinda talk up and you're going to turn my head. :)

Platypus, I know. It's so out of the ordinary for winter in Michigan. I swear we've seen more sun since winter officially began than we usually do all winter.

Courtney, you're right! I hadn't thought of it like that. If you ignore the trees it really looks like water. Thanks!

Bucky, thanks! I almost made one for Ichabod's grandmother this Christmas but I didn't get to it.

these sky photos are magnificent! I love the way the sun shines through those trees--and the wispy clouds always give such a great effect!
The sun is shining brightly today and I'm enjoying what I can of it--through the windows--too cold to go outside with my little one yet!

I've been by everyday this week, but this is the first that I'm looking at your photos without light shining in my face and throwing off the colors.

I can't believe how blue the sky is there. It is just gorgeous. And your photos with the white clouds really set it off in a wonderful way. You've done a really good job with these. I like them a lot. :-)

SS Nick, you are really too nice. Thanks. Maybe I will get the name of that Holland pastor, though. :)

Danielle, thanks! The skies have been pretty interesting so far this winter. Much different from the usual gray, gray, gray.
