Guess what? Another sunrise!
When I first looked out the plate glass windows at work yesterday the sunrise was a deep red and purple. Unfortunately, since I was at work, by the time I got out the colors had changed to the pinks and golds. But, I still think it was nice.
Sometimes my camera washes pictures out so I adjust the color a bit. This is exactly as they came from camera. No adjustments at all. :-)

I think it is just mandatory to stop and look up for a few minutes when the sky is all pink. :)
Those are incredible. Wowee.
Exquisite, Squirl. Superbly exquisite.
Love the reflections on the water. See how nice I am when you bring me dinner? :)
Ern, I agree. We should all stop work and look at the sky. I'm not being facetious. People need to connect with nature more.
Kranki, thanks! It was gorgeous.
Thanks, Nick!
Bucky, thanks, I like the reflections, too. And all it took to get a nice compliment from you was a Mancino's sandwich. ;-)
Wow! How awesome are those? They kind of make you feel insignificant. You take a mean photo, Squil-Bob.
Jim, nature is so wondrous. Makes you feel small, but also happy to be part of it. Thanks!
Sunrises like that make me glad that the days get shorter in the winter. I am not frequently awake early enough to see it in the summer!
Gorgeous pictures.
Fantastic shots of a gorgeous sunrise.
Beautiful. I love a sky like that. Once when Jeff and I first moved to Green Bay we were working out in the country and ridind to work with some people and I wish I had a camera with me that morning. I mean pinks purples and oranges. Just beautiful.
Those look just wonderful. Sunrises and sunsets can bring me such joy. Just the other night, I saw how the sunset was lighting up the sky with pink and I wanted to stop and point to people on the street and say "Hey! Do you see that? Isn't it great?"
But then I'd be classified as a looney. ;-)
But it really was special. Just like how your sunrise was special to you. I'm glad you had your camera and got to share it with us.
The lake makes a nice contrast to the land and trees.
Jenski, the sun rises a lot later here as we're on the western edge of the Eastern Time Zone. I see loads of sunrises. It's just that I miss getting pictures during the summer because I'm driving at the time. Thanks!
Nina, thanks sweetie!
Tweety, thanks! I've seen a couple of sunrises that were so gorgeous. And I either didn't have a camera with me or wasn't in the position to take the picture. They were so spectacular that I can still remember them, though.
Danielle, I have been known to say something to a stranger about, well, whatever I felt like. You'd be surprised how well people react. Either they hadn't noticed and were pleased that it was pointed out or they were glad that someone else noticed and mentioned it. I love the reflection here in the water. And I'm happy to be able to share my sunrise. :-)
Beautiful!
I've often considered taking our camera to work with me. Then I decided that all my sunrise pics would have railroad tracks and power lines marring the beauty. :(
tshsmom, I have to do that sometimes, too. But, who cares? The sunrise speaks for itself. I kinda think the railroad tracks would be a nice addition. Not much you can do about the power lines, though.
Those pics are incredible
William, thanks! Sun is hard to come by in Michigan starting in December. It's actually shining right this minute. But there wasn't a sunrise to be seen this morning.
