A few garden pics
Here are some pictures that I recently took of the garden.
My first try with zinnias.
Danielle, I know you weren't thrilled when you ended up as a canna in that flower quiz. But, I think they're beautiful.
Some begonia shots.
And a long view of the back garden.
Some of these look really gorgeous in the large size. You can always click on the picture, and choose All Sizes.

It is so nice to see beautiful colourful flowers. No joy here today as it is rainy and grey in my neck of the woods.
Kranki, always happy to bring a little color into your day.
:-)
See all those pretty flowers I did not kill when they were in my care for two weeks? :)
Veddy pretty...even better in person, but the pictures come mighty close.
Exactly, Bucky! You helped keep them alive so I could take these pictures of them. They are better in person, but the camera does what it can.
OOoo...I love the orange begonias!
Flowers n shit!
Sorry, that's all I have at this time.
Loverly, as usual, dear Squirl
Jenski, I do too. I'm just sorry that the yellow ones weren't blooming as much the day I took these flowers. They're nice, too.
Mr B, that's good enough.
Nick, thanks!
I think Cannas are pretty, too. Erm... And Zinnias. And Begonias.
Are you getting (or did you get) tons of butterflies on your zinnias?
Courtney, yeah, they are all lovely, aren't they? I love flowers.
I don't remember if I got that many butterflies because of the zinnias. I do remember seeing butterflies around, but they seemed to like just about everything.
Ooh, I love the orange, sort of looks like a rose but really obviously isn't one. What is that?
So pretty!! I love begonias, but have never had luck getting them to bloom. Your yard is lovely!
Wow! Your begonias are Awesome! Mine looked really bad this year. Were yours shaded for most of the day? I wonder if mine had too much sun.
And your zinnias look terrific.
I love your backyard garden. You must get soo much enjoyment from it.
Ern, thanks! That's one of the begonias. They're such gorgeous, showy flowers.
Eclectic, thanks! My begonias were really special this year. It's been years since I had my own yard and I'm so pleased they did well for me. I wonder if your climate is wrong for them. I sure didn't do anything special for them.
Danielle, thanks! I'll bet your yard was too hot and sunny. Mine got part sun, part shade. The zinnias were fun. I really have loved having a backyard. Well, except now that it's time to rake leaves...
I'm jealous! Your yard looks so beautiful, and my yard is just plain crappy right now. :(
tshsmom, that's such a shame what they did to your yard. The whole situation really sucks.
Hope you enjoyed yourself here for a minute.
Holy crap, Squirl-Bob - I had no IDEA you lived in a botanical garden.
Flowers is pretty - but then, being a 'mo, I'm biased.
Jim, I love your 'mopinion! Thanks!
Those are beautiful. I was wondering how they are still so bright when its getting so cool outside though??
Oh Squirl, look at your garden. What a beauty. Thanks for sharing them with us.
I've been here many times, didn't realize I hadn't said anything. I'm enjoying your yard, and I'm very impressed at all your work, and that it's still so colorful, in the Fall. You have a green thumb, I think :)
Tweety, I'm not sure if it still looks like that. There might have been a bad enough frost that they'll probably be gone when I grt back home. Thanks!
Nina, thanks, I love to be able to share my yard with you guys. Hope you're feeling better now.
Susie, I'm glad you've enjoyed yourself over here. Sometimes the "green" thumb is brown. From the dirt, from the dirt!
