And now for something completely different.
Thought I'd do a change of pace here. No ranting in this blog. What I want to say is that I'm really enjoying blogging. Bucky is the main reason I got into it. She's also the reason that I was so lucky to get so many good people coming here and commenting right away. I look at other blogs, good ones, including Bucky's, that have very few comments in the early days. She told the world I was out here and everybody came.
I want to say that I feel honored to have people enjoy my blog enough to read and comment. I'd still be out checking other blogs even if I weren't doing it myself anymore. But it is fun to put some blather (sorry Jamie Dawn) out here and see what people have to say.

I have to chuckle. After I had already named this post I noticed that Bucky had a Monty Python reference in her Wall Drug post. Two Monty Python references in less than 24 hours. It's a family thing.

Hey, Squirl. Between news at work and news on the news, I'm feeling droopy today. Got nothing to say. But your post gives me a lift. I love checking in here ... and at all the other folks' blogs, too. I know why people get RSS readers, and good for them - they don't work for me, because part of my fun every day (every hour?) is to click on my bookmarks, one by one, sometimes in a particular order but most often at random and just see what this varied, talented, smart group of people is up to. It's like being vaguely hungry and going to a supermarket ...
