This weekend Grand Rapids is having the Celebration on the Grand. Kitty wrote about the fireworks at her site. I tried to take some pictures of it. I followed the instructions in the camera manual, but the pictures turned out all blurry. Of course, sometimes blurry is cool. Here's what I got.

Susie, ever since I downloaded those pictures last night I've thinking back to your July 4th post. For some reason I was thinking that your picture of the fireworks was really clear and good. I swear your picture was in my mind when I was bummed that mine were all blurry. I still like these really bizarre ones.
I like Mr B's picture, too. It's adorable. I hope this doesn't make him go and change it right away again.

Kitty, I couldn't believe how low the end of the display was. I really couldn't see much of it for all the buildings in the way. I didn't feel like leaving the deck to see them so my view was really cut off
We didn't do anything until last night. We did a big walk around downtown, including by the Eddie Money area. Then we went home. I heard more motorcycles than anything last night. :-)

Hey, if it's my pasty ass hangin' outta buffalo chaps is what the world wants to see, far be if from me to keep my butt to myself.
And the only way I can tell G's from Q's in word verification is that the G DOES have a closed loop on it.
Now watch it make a liar out of me.
So far, Bucky, the g's always have had closed loops. The way they swirl the words it's still hard tell some of the letters sometimes.

But the problem with that Mr. B--is that you would eat them all....I want one...hmm, I think my sugar craving is gone now though--a sweet girl at the office here just bought me a chocolate chip cookie with a happy face on it--not only did it taste good, but it made my tummy happy too!
I think you needs some brownies though....don't make them with squares of ex-lax--that's not a fun experience, or so I've heard...
