Learning some new software

I bought Photoshop Elements a few months ago. I still haven't sat down with it long enough to learn it, though.

But when Bucky was here last week she helped me play with it a bit. This is the picture from the previous post that we worked on. I think it's kinda cool.

Now that is really, really cool. You could blow that up and frame it!

Nina, thanks! I hope to learn a lot more about that software. But I was pretty happy with this first attempt.

Photoshop is addictive.

You have been warned.

And you would help me with that addiction in a New York minute, Bucky.

And that's one of the many reasons that I love you. :)

It's so appropriate that this word ver would show up when I'm answering your comment. I keep thinking about turning it off for a while and then one like this shows up:

iijzjgf I jizz gif

Now Photoshop that!

Kittn, I'll have to check out that class. And, no, I'm not wearing your Mighty Mouse underwear!

I'll bet you could photoshop that idea, too. ;)

oopseedaiseeb, I haven't done much with it yet, but it's not expensive and I've seen some really cool stuff done with it.

Hi, Judy. In order to get this one I added a layer, then I scrolled down through filters and double-clicked on Glowing Edges.

I'm sure there's so much more that can be done. I think it'll be a lot fun learning.

Lori, if you ever feel like burning it that would be cool, thanks!

Nick, yes, it can be frustrating but also fun. Thanks!

I can only imagine how much fun it would be to mutilate, I mean, manipulate photos together with Bucky. Ha! Makes me laugh just thinking about it!

Eclectic, are you asking if this were the only picture that we did together? Are there any others that were, maybe, mutilated?

Sorry, this is it. For the really weird ones you still need to check Bucky's pictures. :)

Really cool blog you have here! I am a newbie at these tecchy things eg. photoshop. Can you point me in the correct way to get the 'comments' changed to something like what you have 'chattered back'?
You can reply to me here or write to me at belizegial64 at yahoo dot com. Thanks for any help you can provide.

Belizegial, I have to admit that I'm not much of a techy, either. I had to have help getting my blog set up and formatted for me. I'm just the lucky recipient of others' generocity.

It helps if you know something about html. I know very little, but if you do decide to go into the html part of your blog I would suggest copying and pasting your entire html into something like Wordpad. Then if it gets messed up you can copy and past back in.

JDR, thanks!

Susie, she is such a cutie! Thanks for bringing your "4th" message to us again this year. :)

Effie, thanks! I tried to reply last night, but our stupid internet was down. They had some trouble and I'm guessing that whoever could fix it was out celebrating. :)

NICE JOB!
Photoshop is our son's favorite computer toy.
I haven't had time to mess with it much; other than to email pictures with it.

Kranki, thanks! I think it's going to be a lot of fun. I'm kinda mad at myself for not having done more with it yet. So glad you're in your new digs.

tshsmom, my sister tells me it could be addictive. I'll have to watch it. Thanks!

Looks like a good first photo! Isn't it fun using some of the layers and filters in Photoshop? I think some of them are really cool.

Hope you get a lot of use out of it!

Kittn, miss you too, sweetie. :(

Danielle, thanks! Yes, it is fun. I'd like to learn to take things, like utility poles and such, out. I'll keep playing with it.
