Why does it have to keep proving it's winter?

It's snowing again, doggone it. I have proof!

Can you tell I just shoveled about a half hour before this?

Ladybug, I always think that pictures of snow are pretty. I just don't need it that close to me.

Mr B, I'd been thinking that I need to update my blog when I saw Bone's post. It inspired me. :)

You need to tell that white stuff to clear the hell out before I get there. I know you have the authority - you're the big sister!

Yeah, Bucky, that's it, I'm the big sister. It has to listen to me!

I'll get right on that.

I think it's going to require the planetary alignment of the sibs issuing the order together. If it were March, maybe Squirl alone could do it, but in January? An order banishing the snow is definitely going to require more firepower. Or maybe just a really warm, crackly fire. I'm starting one RIGHT NOW!

Hi,Eclectic! Let's see, with you in Washington, Susie on the East Coast, and Bucky and me right in the middle of the country, that sounds like a pretty good alignment. :)

Or I could just turn up the heat and close the blinds. Doesn't work when you're driving in it, but it works great after you're home.

That’s a lot of snow, Squirl! We’ve only seen a dribble here. But it is COLD—and Alex is acting like a brat because whenever I open the door at his command, he decides it’s too wintry to go outside and play.

You've got more snow than we have now. How about that?

I think that would be FUN to be in, as long as you had a fireplace, didn't have to go anywhere and a stockpile of wine and/or hot chocolate....

JDR, yes, it is pretty, but a pain. Of course, you're in the midst of summer where you are so it probably looks refreshing.

Nick, we had more over the evening and night. And more will be coming down today. I remember when my parents used to let the cats out. They can waste a lot of heat trying to decide.

Laurie, dang, well I guess you guys deserve a break. I just hope this stuff quits and goes away soon. They're talking about high temps in the single digits this weekend. Yuck!

Jim, with all of those stipulations, then, yes, snow is wonderful, beautiful, etc.
;P

looks like you need to be shovelling again, girl! No fun!

It's been snowing up here too!

Let's go make a snowman!

The picture are great! The only kind of snow I like to see, in pictures. We are expecting more snow too. Wish I could have stayed in Phoenix.

Effie, you sure aren't kidding! There's still more coming down. Making a snowman means going out in that stuff on purpose, though. Can't we just stay in and play with your new baby?

Nina, I know, I'd rather look at it in pictures, too. Too bad you guys had to come home for that open house. Maybe in a month or so you can go back again.

Oh no way!!! That's not real, is it? ;-) I feel like a dolt complaining about 23 degree temps now.

SoozieQ, yeah, that's for real. I hope winter doesn't last too much longer here. I'll have to see if I can get some more pictures as it's snowed a lot more since I took these.

I'd rather have snow NOW, than in March!
Don't complain, our high temps are supposed to be in the single digits BELOW zero next week.

Wow, tshsmom, you win the sucky weather award! And you're right. I'd rather have it now than later.

Kittn, we've only had to shovel the walks and steps so far. We have a gem of a neighbor next door who snowblows the driveway for us. I think it's time to make his family a batch of brownies. :)

Kranki, exactly!

If I am responsible for the new post, then I need to consider a career as a motivational speaker.

Watch yer ass, Tony Robbins.

Sound like fun. We have some cold weather coming our way also. I have to go shovel tomorrow because I keep forgetting to. its just the sidewalk to the front door but still.

I feel the same way: We keep shoveling, it keeps snowing.

But darn tootin' pretty, mind you, darn tootin' pretty.

Tweets, even shoveling that little bit requires going out and working in the cold. :)

Amber, yeah, I grudgingly admit its beauty. But I was getting pretty spoiled to not having much snow this year. It appears to be determined to make up for it now.

Hey! Your comments work!? You suck! ;)

It started snowing again here, too. At least it puts a layer of traction over the slick layer of ice.

Courtney, yes, my comments work so well that I've been getting loads of spam comments. Had to put the swirly letters back on.

I know what you mean about that little bit snow traction on the ice. Just a little traction. :)

Man! I wish it would be a little wintery here...I guess being born and raised in New England and living here I expect a little snow on the ground, but nothing. It looks so pretty and shoveling is great exercise...even if it is a bit cold out. :)

Bone, we will need photographic evidence when you get those teeth. That is, unless your teeth are so bright that the picture won't turn out.

Jenski, I don't think I'd miss snow if I moved someplace warmer. But they're getting snow now in places that don't usually get it. Darned El Nino petered out on us.

Oh I know. My husband stands on the back of trucks all day unloading tires for his job and then I shovel the drive way and sidewalk where he doesnt have to when he comes home. I know what you mean though Its a mess and we have to do what we have to do to get around it for the time being. Its just part of winter and I agree with tshsmom, I would rahter have all the snow now than in March and April. Get it over with then we can enjoy the nice weather coming.

I suppose so. We dont have any more snow on the way but a few more days of real cold weather. They cancelled school today because it was really dangerous for the kids to be out in it. I had to explain to a six year old why she couldnt go this morning and sobbing all afternoon because she missed her afterschool program but all the kids did because there was no school. She just likes learning. Might as let her while shes willing to learn as my godmother told me once. LOL... A very wise woman there. I hope you dont get to much more snow then. Take care. Tweets.

Thanks, Tweets! It's been too cold for school here, too. Too cold for the salt to melt the ice on the roads. Maybe in a couple of weeks we'll be done with this garbage.
