Long overdue pictures

I promised JD's Rose a picture of my boots. These are the boots that allowed me to take sunset pictures in some very cold weather. Of course, they're also the ones I was wearing when I fell down the stairs.

Ms Von Krankipantzen asked for a picture of the pair of socks that I won at Curves right before Christmas.

And here's a bonus photo, as long as I'm at foot level. They're plastic and I can use them in the garden and when I wash the cars.

I love Crocs! They are great, but don't leave them in the sun or they'll morph into something you don't ever want to see again. Trust me on this.

Thanks, Laurie! I'll remember that.

They morph? I just bought a fake pair and I love them so much I am going to get me the real deal.

Love the pink Squirl!

Those are fun pictures! I'd have never thought of photographing footwear -- but these are great!!! I love your waffle-stompers -- everybody needs a faithful pair of boots. And your Crocs are the perfect statement of faith in the coming gardening season.

You must be in that same clog-worshiping cult as Jon Armstrong.

Those are cool. I like the little design on the socks. Then again I love X-mas.

I really like the ice-skates on the socks. Of course, I'm a big fan of 'fun' socks.

I always have to resist as I walk past the fancy sock section at Target. And they put it at the edge of the clothing on the way from the cat litter to the checkout, so I pass them almost every time. Smart, eh?

I love Crocs too, and they are great in the garden.

Milkmaid, thanks!

Effie, the camo boots were cheap and warm. How could I say no.

The pinks were cheap knockoffs, too.

Eclectic, I was asked for the first two photos and thought the gardening shoes were a good addition. Yes, the cold and snow ARE going to go away and there will be gardens!

Bucky, that would be NOT!

Tweets, thanks!

Danielle, thanks! I thought they looked like fun, too. Of course, as you can see from the tag, they haven't been worn yet. Next season!

Nina, I just like the idea that I had something that wouldn't soak up water and would release dirt. I can leave these outside, too.

Those Crocs look neon! Like they actually glow. The socks are cute too. Now after your fall down the stairs I sorta thought the boots would be stilettoes. Not that it is not possible to wipe out wearing hiking boots (I've done that myself) but I just had that mental picture.

I have a pair of knock-offs that I keep by the door too! I love having waterproof shoes, that I can slip into, when I run out for the paper or to the garage!

Beautiful boots; neat socks; are the plastic sandals (?) comfortable?

Kranki, no stilettos on these feet! I can't handle flats. :-D

Cathy, oops, sorry. Will it help if I tell you that I put them away right after the pictures???

tshsmom, sounds like my plan, too. I sure didn't want to pay much. Seems like they were $9.99 and then there was, like, 40% off of that.

Thanks, Nick! Would you believe I haven't even had them on my feet yet? I'm hoping they're comfortable enough to wear while I do the outside chores.

I want your garden and car washing shoes. That is all.

**I need to catch up with you. I hope your fall was not too bad. I need to do some reading here.

Lots of hugs to you.

I just read the falling post. My goodness! That is terrible. Even when you did take the pics, the swelling is really bad. I'm sure Ich took good care of you.

tshsmom, hope I can help you take your mind off for a few minutes here and there. :-)

Lawbrat, the shoes were pretty cheap at Meijers. Actually, I'm not healing as fast as I'd like from the fall. I'm going to the doctor in the morning. Thanks and hugs back to you.
