There is life after Harry Potter
I suppose I should get back to serious blogging now that Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince has been read. It’s really good. Now I can’t wait for book seven. “Excuse me, Ms. Rowling, but could you please put your family and your life on hold so you can write that next book FAST to accommodate your voracious fans?” Wait, did I write that out loud?
Anyway, now I can get back to the Adams Douglas book that I started before Harry Potter came out.
I’m actually pleasantly surprised by the amount of blogging that’s been going on. I really figured that summer would have everyone slowing down. There are so many outdoor activities and all. But, we’re all hooked and we can’t wait to get back to our Internet. :-)
This is, by no means, a complaint. Keep on bloggin’ baby.

We are a little addicted, I s'pose, but our little "blogunity" is totally legal; is fat-free, sugar-free and caffeine-free; has no calories; helps us meet our daily laughter/smile quota; and keeps us off the streets. Not half bad, eh?
I've been consuming large amounts of Internet since 1994. I'm not thinking that will slow down anytime soon. You did see my latest graph? hehe

All right, Squirl is back!
Sometimes I breathe a sigh of relief on the weekend when blogging slows down.
I'm with eclectic! Besides, blogging keeps my mind off eating.
Eclectic, I'm with you. If it's an addiction, it's not a bad one. Laughter is also good for the soul, and your health. :-)
Mr , those are some stats you got there.
Sierrabella, yeah, it does give one a bit of a break. And thanks.
Kitty, but you're so good with the animal sounds and the flatulence.
tshsmom, you are right. There is nothing wrong with blogging. It just kinda surprised me. I've been doing more than I thought I would, too.
It's too hot to be outside!
Welcome back, Squirl! Did you get ANY sleep this weekend, or just spend the whole of it reading?
Nice to see you survived the interuption, I mean wedding LOL. Now you will have to catch up on your sleep.
Don't wish for the 7th book too soon. We still have another movie coming. :)
I'm with Ern, it is too hot to be outside.
Even buffalo herds and Chicago quicksand could not deter me from my summer blogging.
You people can't get rid of me as easily as that, now, can you?
Good point, Ern. I hadn't thought about that.
Ladybug, yes I did get some sleep. Finished the book late Saturday night (read Sunday morning) but didn't get to sleep in as one of the neighbors thought loud music was a good thing to do early in the morning.
August95, yes, made it through the wedding and still read my book. I think the reason I shouldn't push for book 7 is because that will be the last one. Looking forward to the next movie, too though. And, yes, this has been a hot summer.
Bucky, there would be too many broken hearts out there if you stopped blogging. Or should we call you Red?
Blog on! :)
Hi Goddess, welcome.
My wife got 2 3rds of the way through the latest book and found that it had a printing error. She had a section that was missing and repeated itself with earlier pages from the previous chapter. It was 12 midnight. She flipped out like a crack ho looking for a fix. Luckily she bought my kid his own version of the book and his was printed OK. She got her fix and was contented.
Jeff's, welcome. I see your wife is a big HP fan also! I would also be that proverbial crack ho if my book had been printed incorrectly. Thank goodness there was another to be found. :-)
