Time for another Lame-O post

I need to put something new out here but my creativity is taking a vacation. I did take some good pictures this weekend. These all look good when they are seen in the larger view. If you have the time, go ahead and click on them and choose All Sizes.

This one has lots of detail in the center.
Green Zinnia1

This is a better flower than the last teddy bear plant I posted.
Teddy Bear2

I love this color sunflower.
Sunflower1

I wish I could send the wonderful scent of this rose through the computer to you.
Rose1

I love the pretty center on this one.
Sunflower2

This one not only enlarges well, I like the bug holes in the leaves.

Flowers and pictures are always a lovely alternative when you're not very inspired to write. Beautiful, all of them!

Beautiful, squirl. And I know it's after midnight, but I was real busy all day, and didn't get to be a pirate anywhere, so allow me: aaarrrrgghhhh! Ah, that felt good ;)

Eclectic, thanks! Sometimes I feel like a slacker if I just post pictures, but I was pretty proud of these. I knew I'd better get some shots soon, as the growing season is almost over.

Ern, thank you very much!

Kitty, I did tell you about that loser, didn't I? rfoxoy huh? cool

Amber, I got all my pirate talking out earlier in the day. Didn't have any left. :-) Thank you!

MD, lemme see.... yup, like a pirate. Thanks!

Susie, you can talk like a pirate any time you want to on my blog. And thank you!

Blogaholic, yes, there really is a Talk Like A Pirate Day site. :-) Thanks!

Wow! These are better. The lighting, shadows, detail all really show up nicely.

And you've got a big yellow flower, right in the center!
*grin*
I hope it is somewhere where you get to see it regularly, since I know how much you like yellow flowers.

The teddy bear one is really cool. I like how the center looks so three dimensional/half-globe-like. Really cool.

I lurvah the flowahs.

Well, Squirl, if you like yellow so much, how come you get mad every time I piss on your couch?

Oh, and, like, totally not lame-o, man.

Lame-o would be somebody who couldn't think of a post so she pretended to be getting an alien probe and wrote about it.

Bucky, well, there are certain shades of yellow that go with the couch. That doesn't happen to be one of them. And I think that Jax is acting very fidgety.

Glad you could get away from work for a minute.

I absolutely love roses--tea roses especially--my mom has 2 big beautiful yellow tea rose bushes in front of the house--every time I see her she gives me a bud, I put it in a bud vase and it perfumes the air for days.....mmm

Pretty pics!
How's it going?

Hi, Effie! I love roses, too. That one has such a marvelous scent. We used to have a yellow rose bush when we lived in Kentucky. For years after we moved to Michigan I bought my mother a single yellow rose on her birthday. :-)

Jess! And it's my favorite of all the sunflowers!

Beautiful pictures, Squirl!

And I, too, was a little disappointed that you didn't do a Talk Like a Pirate post. *sniff* ;o)

But you can make up for it by clicking here and letting us all know what your pirate name is.

P.S. My secret word is papvm, which reminds me that I need to make an appointment for my annual feet-in-the-stirrups-fun-day. Stupid Blogger code word.

Hi Ladybug! Thanks!

I felt that putting up another pirate post would be cheating as I did one the week before. My duty, you know, to remind everyone. :-)

My pirate name is Cap'n Deb Greasepalms. I don't think I wanna know what that means.

That was a good word for you to end up with. I'm not sure what mine is telling me:
illltg Does that mean I'm sick?

The flowers are a lovely alternative to a written post. My fave is the sunflower. The colours are gorgeous.

Thank you, Kranki. I love the flowers and they usually get a good reception here. I really need to come up with a good post about one of my former neighbors. That seems to be a theme in my life, weird former neighbors.

And I love how Canadian bloggers use the British "u" in words. I can't remember which word it was now, but I kept trying to put a "u" in it where US doesn't have one. You guys are influencing my spelling. :-)

Tardist, thanks. I appreciate that compliment and I appreciate the new word. :-)

August, thanks. Sunflowers are not only gorgeous, they're native to the American continent.

Kitty, yes when the sun isn't shining we can always take pictures of a place that the sun doesn't shine.

Danielle, why does that word always sound naughty?

Yeah, Bucky, Kitty's got such a high energy level, she's always jazzed up. Oh, wait, you said.... Oh, nevermind.
