A trip through the Garden Part 3
And now, the final installment.
Not sure what this flower is.
I love the fog that they do here to keep it moist.
I like the way the light is shining through the fog here. It shows better in the large size.
I couldn't leave without getting a shot of this fellow.
And, for the last photo, one more butterfly.

The name of your flower in the first photo is on the tip of my tongue, if I wake up in the middle of a great sleep (when I usually remember things), I'll let you know.
I love the turtles, and all the fogginess is great!
Dang. That frog is just leaping into the next volume of Tuesday.
Cooooooooool!!! Those turtles!!!! They are real, aren't they? 'Cause if not, I don't want to know. They are COOOL!!!!
Courtney, if you think of it, please come back and tell me. Thanks!
Mr B, he is just a bit scary, isn't he?
Eclectic, I promise I won't tell you that they're not real. :)
OK, these are my favorites of the lot, although they were all good. I just LOVE that fog!
Great photos, Squirl-Bob!
I LOVE the shot of the two turtles in the fog. It looks so romantic! Hee.
Jim, I thought you'd like these after your previous comment. Thanks!
Ladybug,, I like those turtles. Don't tell Eclectic that they're statues, though. :)
Froggie went a-courtin' go mm-hmm!
That's one funky looking flower...the misty-fog is a lovely way to keep the garden moist!
Seriously? Those are statues?!? Oh, good grief, I thought they were real! And here I was, all awwww! Look at the sweet little turtles being all romantic in the fog!
Geez.
Effie, thank goodness that frog's not going anywhere. I really liked that fuzzy flower. :)
Ladybug, oops, so sorry. I didn't really have to say that. The only people who'd know the difference are the ones who would actually go there.
Just beautiful Squirl, I have mist makers like that in my house for my plants. I love the turtles . . .
Wow... those are some great pictures! I love the fog!
Oooh, it's so jungly!
And I know someone's mother (who shall remain nameless but does have a dead poodle on top of her head) who would LOVE that frog. ;)
WOnderful photos, so colourful. I especially like the butterflies. The frog is awesome, funnily enough, I posted a frog in my last post.
Have a good week.
Beautiful pictures in all 3 parts of your posts....that seems to have the rainforest look.....thanks for sharing Squirl.
Nina, thanks! Your plants must love those.
CK, thanks!
Bucky, I forgot all about the frog lady. Well, I didn't really forget her. Just didn't connect her with this huge frog. :)
Oopseedaisee, thanks! Wow, a frog theme in the blogs. The blog frogs.
Judy, thanks! I love sharing. Have you ever been to Frederik Meijer Gardens? It really is worth a look, especially March-April when the butterflies are there.
My favorites would have to be the orchids, but those turtles are so cute!
Looks great. I can'tw ait until I get a new camera so there is a point to me going to exhibitions and stuff.
Dammit Jim, I'm a doctor not a veterinarian!
*sigh*
I so wanted them to be real.
(Which, now that I've typed it, looks like something a man might say when discovering a boob job.)
I'm disappointed that the turtles aren't real. And here I thought you happened to luck into a really great shot. bummer.
The reddish-pink flower is certainly unusual. The fog and the light looks nice. I'm glad you've done this installment of photos. It has been fun.
These photo subjects are so beautiful that they don't even look real.
Sorry I haven't been here in a while. Very busy day.
Song, thanks! Yes, having a camera brings a whole different dimension to life. You always are thinking about what would make a good shot.
Eclectic, sorry. I really didn't mean to burst your bubble. Thank goodness we don't have to worry about boob jobs around here. :)
Kittn, probably not. ;)
Bone, I hadn't thought about that. Now I probably won't think of anything else when I look at it. I did get some pictures of a real frog today, though. I'll probably be posting those next.
Danielle, I'm so used to that display that I never think of them as real. I suppose I should've left the mystique! I'm so glad you've enjoyed these shots. I sure liked taking them.
HB, sorry I blew the magic. Wait, that doesn't sound too good, does it? Thanks :)
Wordgirl, thank you, that's so sweet.
The mist is very cool. I wish I had that at my house.
Kranki, I'll bet you could've use those with the heat you've had there lately. It also is just a very cool effect.
Bone, Riverdancing is scary. It should be against everyone's religion.
These are amazing (I, too, love the fog) and turtles have been some of my favorite pets!
Jessica, welcome. And thanks!
I wish it weren’t so bloody hot so I could spend some time outside with the flowers. Here in Louisville it is now almost 11:00 p.m. and it is still 91 F outside.
Nick, a front came through here last night. It's a bit cooler. I hope you got some of that down there, too.
Hey Squirl--come play my game....
Effie, you just provided my next post. I love movies!
