Lilies and more

My stargazer lilies are at their peak. I tried getting some pictures yesterday morning but the sun was too bright. As the sun got lower, the garage was shading them. It seems kind of fitting that the pictures turned out dark since they're called stargazers.

Here are some of the pictures I took. The rest are added to my 2008 Garden set.

You should probably worry that I'm going to come over and eat the flowers while you're at work.

They are beautiful Squirl.. I liked how they turned out. Those red ones are my favorite I think of them all this set.. I liked the top ones too. I think you called them lilies.

Bucky, are you that hungry, hon? I'll bring you a nice sandwich tonight after work, k?

Tweetey, yes, the top ones are lilies, the bottom ones are begonias. Thank you!

These are so beautiful, Squirl. You took some really great photos.

I love them all.

I'd never heard of cleomes, but I wonder if that is the flower that I've seen in a perennial garden that looked so round.... Is it a perennial?

Wow, Squirl! Those are beautiful flowers. I have always been partial to stargazer lilies. I tried growing those one year in my garden, but they didn't work out. Good job! ;)

I've been watching your pictures on flickr. Mind if I take a few of these pictures for my desktop background?

Danielle, thanks! Cleomes aren't perennial. But those long parts that stick out to the side make lots of seeds, so they will reseed the area.

Chia, thanks! So do I.

LadyM, thanks! They were here when I moved in. They didn't do a lot last year so moved them to a place where they'd get more water. I'm please with how they turned out. And I would be honored if you want to use some pictures as your desktop background.
